2019 Young Performer’s Award Announcement!

Magisterra Soloists is proud to announce the 2nd edition of its searchlight audition for young string players: the Young Performer's Award! We are excited to open up this year's audition to not only violinists, but also violists and cellists! This year's award recipient(s) will have the chance to perform solo with Magisterra Soloists at its 2019 Gala and receive a special monetary honorarium! BACK HOME!

Magisterra Soloists has returned home after a successful two-week, eight-city tour through Ontario and Québec! Not only were we thrilled to perform in several beautiful new acoustics, but we were also welcomed on tour by some wonderful new fans, fantastic hosts, and incredible sunny weather! Thank-you to all our friends and collaborators who made this tour possible!

Two Jack Richardson Music Award nominations for Magisterra!

Magisterra Soloists is thrilled to have been nominated in the 2018 London Jack Richardson Music Awards! The ensemble has been nominated for  Classical Instrumental (Group) category while our Artistic Director Annette-Babara Vogel has been nomintated in the Classical Instrumental (Solo) category.
